Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026. These terms are a contract between you and Bundle of Joy ApS. By using our service, you agree to them.

The service

Bundle of Joy is an AI-powered baby name curator. We suggest names based on your preferences, generate name stories, and help you and your partner find names you both love.

Our suggestions are just that: suggestions. We don't provide medical, legal, or civil registry advice. A name recommendation from us isn't a guarantee that the name is available, appropriate, or permitted in your country. You're responsible for your final naming decision.

Accounts

You need one account per person. If you want to use the partner matching feature, your partner needs their own account too. Don't share login credentials.

You're responsible for keeping your account secure. If you think someone has accessed your account without permission, let us know right away.

Free and paid plans

The free plan gives you access to 25 curated names. If you want more, we offer two paid plans:

  • Bloom – $4.99, one-time payment.
  • Garden – $9.99, one-time payment.

These are not subscriptions. You pay once and keep access for as long as your account is active. No recurring charges, no surprises.

Payments

All payments are processed by Stripe. We don't store your card details. If you're not happy with your purchase, you can request a full refund within 14 days. No questions asked.

Acceptable use

Bundle of Joy is for personal use. You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, or automatically extract data from our service.
  • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit name data or recommendations.
  • Use the service in any way that could harm it or other users.

Intellectual property

The name stories and canvases we generate are for your personal use. You can share them with family and friends, print them for the nursery, post them on social media. But you can't package them up and sell them or redistribute them commercially.

The Bundle of Joy brand, design, and underlying technology belong to us.

Limitation of liability

We suggest names. We're not responsible for your final naming decision, the popularity of a name you chose, cultural sensitivities you didn't research, or any consequences that come from choosing a particular name.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claims related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. If you're on the free plan, that amount is zero.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. When you do, we'll delete your data within 30 days.

We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or abuse the service. We'll try to give you notice first, but we're not required to.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Danish law. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Copenhagen, Denmark.
